To raise awareness about autism, Westhampton Beach Elementary School is celebrating National Autism Awareness Month throughout the month of April. Students designed hallway bulletin boards that displayed their knowledge of autism and kicked off the initiative by wearing blue to school on April 1.  Throughout the month, they will continue to learn about autism and take part in lessons and activities, including decorating autism awareness puzzle pieces.
