The choral program at Westhampton Beach High School is here to encourage a positive self-image and a positive attitude towards vocal music as an art form. The Choral Program is designed to educate young singers as to the mechanics of their voice. Through these ensembles, we will explore different genres, periods & languages while enforcing positive vocal techniques and trends. Students will be able to demonstrate strong vocal technique through pitch matching, breath control and vocal facility while emphasizing content knowledge through Music Theory, Sight-Singing and Pedagogical application.
