Parent Organizations

Elementary PTA

The Westhampton Beach Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a support group for parents and the school. As members of the State and National PTA we subscribe to purposes and goals concerning child safety and school experiences and serve as a liaison among parents, teachers, and administrators, thus providing a format for sharing of mutual concerns. Whenever possible, we cooperate with the High School Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) and other local parent groups to explore areas of mutual interest.
The Elementary School PTA holds general monthly meetings in the Elementary School library at 7 p.m. The PTA hosts numerous other special activities throughout the school year. The PTA has a mailbox in the Elementary School.

Middle School PTO

The Mission of the Middle School Parent Teacher Organization is to enhance the overall experience for Middle School students by connecting the circle of home, school, and community through the offering of opportunities so that each child develops to his/her fullest potential.
We encourage all parents, teachers and students from the WHB Middle School to show your support and join the PTO.

High School PTO

The primary objective of this school community organization is for parents to become more actively involved in their child’s high school experience.  This organization provides the opportunity for parents to “have a seat at the table” and stay informed about academic and social issues that directly impact their child.  More information will be provided at our annual “Back to School Night” and meeting dates and times are listed in the district calendar.  All are welcome!  For further information,  please contact the building principal, Mr. Christopher Herr (288-3800), or either of the PTO Co-Presidents: Ms. Kathy Dean or Ms. Theresa Murphy via email at whbpto@optonline.net.
