Remsenburg Speonk Elementary


Peg Larkins Memorial 5K Run/Walk Scholarship: Two $500.00 scholarships to be awarded to graduating high seniors who reside in the Remsenburg-Speonk Union Free School District and graduated from the Remsenburg-Speonk Elementary School. Students enrolled at high schools other than WHBHS are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate a balance among academics, community service and athletics. Participation on a high school sports team is not required. The money awarded is to be used specifically for the recipient’s continuing education, including occupational training, after high school. Remsenburg-Speonk PTO September 11, 2001 Heroes Memorial Award: $911 award in memory of the heroes who served mankind on September 11, 2001. This gift is awarded to an alumnus of the Remsenburg-Speonk School who demonstrates a high level of selfless school/community service.
