Westhampton Beach Elementary School’s principals, teachers, staff and students were surprised to learn on June 11 that their school is the recipient of a fitness grant from Peconic Bay Medical Center and Project Fit America. Through the grant, the school will receive teacher training, lesson plans, and new indoor and outdoor fitness equipment.
