Westhampton Beach Middle School seventh graders studying Colonial history researched aspects of the era and worked in teams to create model villages of the time period. The students used the school library’s makerspace to construct the villages, which included houses, livestock, crops and buildings, out of materials such as cardboard, paper, glue tape and clay.
